Experience

Walters took over as chief executive officer of Credit Central in 2016. He began his career with World Acceptance Corporation in 1989 as an assistant manager. After serving as manager, district supervisor and state vice president, he was promoted in 2005 to senior vice president of the Southern Division.

Community

Walters is the past president of the South Carolina Independent Consumer Finance Association. He serves on the board of the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs and South Carolina Business and Industry Political Education Commission. He is married to Fran Walters and they have three children, Christin, Austin and Hallie.

Walters attended the University of South Carolina.
