Experience

Owens is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Georgetown Kraft Credit Union, serving in that role since 2018, after holding the position of Chief Financial Officer from 2001 to 2018.  He was a lending officer at Williamsburg First National Bank from 1994 to 2001 and an examiner with the South Carolina State Board of Financial Institutions from 1991 to 1994.

Community

Owens is a member of the Georgetown Rotary Club, and he serves on the Carolinas Credit Union League South Carolina Governmental Affairs Committee.  He is a Trustee of the Garden City Chapel & Retreat, and he is active in his local church and community, serving in several capacities. 

Education

Owens is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
